Check out Office Live Workspace from Microsoft for a great cloud computing solution. Great for the collaborative process that happens before creating that final PDF! It offers users the ability to create, save, access, and share documents and files online for free (You get 5GB of free storage!). There is even a plug-in for MS Office that lets you save your files to your online Workspace directly from whichever Office program you are using. Not only can saving things in the cloud help the bottom line, but you're helping out the environment at the same time.
